Yes, this can be played backwards.

An attempt to create a musical track, which the resulting file can be both played forward and backwards and still sound the same. World style track with some synth/tron instruments and a guitar solo in the middle.

They key to this being able to work is to not only copy and reverse in the macro layer, but also in the micro layer of the single instruments: The beat itself is only a quarter note in length, then it's reverse was added behind it; The HiHat element is a half-note in length, then with it's reverse added behind it; The Synth Bass is a whole bar, then it's reverse added behind, and so on.
